Free Tools Terms of Use

Effective date: November 5, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the free tools on cracked.cloud/tools, including the Email Security Check, the Cyber Insurance Readiness Check and the WISP Builder, and to the results, reports and documents they produce (together, "the tools"). The tools are provided by Cracked Cloud LLC ("we", "us"). By using the tools or requesting a report, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the tools.

2. General information only

The tools give general information to help you think about your security. They aren't legal, compliance, regulatory, insurance, tax or other professional advice, and they don't replace a review by a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Results are based only on public DNS records we can see at the time of the check, or on the answers you give. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, for example when a record is hidden from public view, a service changes its settings, or an answer doesn't fully describe your business. A good result doesn't mean you're secure, and a poor result doesn't mean you've been breached.

Statements about what insurers, regulators or other organizations may expect are general observations, not statements of any particular insurer's, regulator's or organization's requirements. Every insurer sets its own requirements, and only your insurer or broker can tell you what your policy needs.

Documents from the WISP Builder are starting drafts. They haven't been reviewed by an attorney, and creating or adopting one doesn't by itself make your business compliant with the FTC Safeguards Rule, IRS requirements or any other law. Laws and guidance change, and the draft may not reflect the latest changes. You're responsible for reviewing, completing, adopting and maintaining your own plan.

3. No client relationship

Using the tools or receiving a report doesn't create a client, consulting, attorney-client or other professional relationship with us. We only take on work under a separate written agreement.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to give accurate answers, and to make your own decisions about what to do with the results. Never copy answers from a tool into an insurance application or other official document without checking that they're true for your business.

Only check domains that you own or are authorized to review. Don't use the tools to harass anyone, to gather information for an attack, or in any way that breaks the law.

Don't use automated means to access the tools, try to get around their rate limits or bot protection, or interfere with how they work. We may block access that looks like misuse.

5. Lookalike domains

The Email Security Check lists registered domains that look similar to yours. We don't know who owns them or how they're used. A domain appearing on the list isn't an accusation that its owner has done anything wrong, and some may be harmless or owned by your own business.

6. No warranty

The tools, results and reports are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We don't promise that the tools will be available, uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend or stop any tool at any time.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business or coverage, or for any fines, penalties or claims, arising from your use of or reliance on the tools, results or reports, even if we were told such damages were possible.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the tools is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). Some places don't allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.

8. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from any claim brought by someone else that arises from your misuse of the tools or your breach of these terms.

9. Your information

Our privacy policy explains what we collect when you use the tools, including domains you check and the details you give when you request a report, and how we use it.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows when they last changed. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
